Nutrition: The Better Way!

Now that January is over, the New Year’s resolutions to eat more healthy or lose weight start to feel less and less like reality, or you’ve already given up on it. Before we know it, we are back to our old habits. If you really want those resolutions to stick or if you want to give that resolution another go, make the resolution as specific as possible. Instead of “I am going to eat better” try “I will drink 50 oz. of water every day instead of soda and/or coffee.”

To stay accountable, keep a journal/record/log of your accomplishments. For instance, how many miles did you run/walk today? How many days did you avoid eating chocolate on chocolate chip ice cream? Find a support network that will both encourage and support your goals. You’ll find on Facebook group pages that share the same goals as yourself. They are really great because you can swap ideas, get great advice, or just be a cheerleaders for each other. Also friends, family, and the people you socialize with are also great support networks. Make this year your happiest, healthiest, most goal-oriented year ever!

We at Castro Valley Chiropractic are here to serve you!
